Description:

CRT will join over a dozen civil and human rights organizations for an afternoon of information, celebration and networking at the Marshall Center at USF in Tampa. Free food, great speakers, and entertainment included! Come and ask questions about important civil rights issues including job discrimination, immigrant rights, civil liberties, and other critical concerns for our community. Keynote speakers include Dr, Donna Elam, Chair of the Florida Commission on Human Relations and Manuel Zurita, Director of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. CRT will have a booth and be available to discuss religious tolerance and how it relates to other human rights issues

An all-day event organized by Peace by Peace, an interfaith coalition of Yale medical students promoting a non-violent resolution to the conflict in Israel/Palestine.

Confirmed speakers include Mayor John Stefano, Rabbi Jim Ponet, Dr. James Leckman, Sa'ed Atshan, and Dr. Andrea Blanch. Confirmed performers include the Yale Belly Dance Society, the Duke's Men of Yale, and the Afro-Semitic Experience.
